I’m a full time dad, with my kiddo, since her age of 18 mos. She’s now 10 years old. I’ve worked in Media in some form or another since the late 90’s. I enjoy rebuilding vintage Mercedes Benz, Skateboarding, Art, Film & Media.....
Fred Astaire Ballroom Dance Studios
I was the youngest franchisee ever, (at 20yrs old) for Fred Astaire Dance Studio [FADS]. I’m not tall, I’m mildly attractive at best and my dancing has always been mediocre. Yet, I was able to succeed in a business and an industry, one would otherwise be too intimidated to get even in the front door. I set records. One of which, still stands, and I’ve been told no studio has even come close to matching it.
Me Winning award for 83% student retention.
A record which remains unbroken.

The OG’s in Trouble
At, 23, I gave up everything to take care of my grandfather for two years. Not because I’m some good person. It was because I was there, I was available and he needed help. I was looking for an ‘out’ from the dance business after I’d learned my business partner was an asshole and a cheat.
A real OG takes care his people. How many of my six brothers and sister were there, side by side with me, cleaning up after Granddad everyday? I did what needed to be done and I never asked for anything (0ther than gG-Ma’s Bedroom set, which I still have and use every-night, to this day.) All while others were diving up what they would or wouldn’t get after he’d die.
I spent a million dollars on that experience....Best money I ever spent.
2008-2012: G.I. Jon
After the newlywed blues of the market crash of 2007/08. I put money where my mouth is and joined the US Army. I raised my right hand. Went through Army Basic Training alongside kids still in high school. Graduated from boot camp a month after my 30th birthday.
Made a couple of million back.
Bank re-opened.
